What's New for 2024?

The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee receives several changes. The Trailhawk is no longer available, and now it's exclusive to the Grand Cherokee 4xe model. A nine-speaker Alpine system is now available as a standalone option for Limited trims, while the 19-speaker unit is available on Overland and Summit trims. Limited and Overland models are now the only ones with a 10.1-inch digital screen.

Performance

The Grand Cherokee has three powertrain options, with the base model being a 3.6-liter 293 horsepower V6 engine. There's also a 2.0-liter four-cylinder 375-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain and a 5.7-liter 357-hp V8, but these models are optional.

According to the EPA, the V-6 engine gets around 19/26 miles per gallon, while the V-8 model is rated for 14/22 mpg. The plug-in-hybrid delivers better fuel economy and is rated for 23/24 mpg.

Interior/Exterior

The Grand Cherokee receives a more modernized cabin this year. The base Laredo trim will offer essential tech and amenities. While the more upscale Summit and Overland trims will add luxuries, including quilted leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, and high-tech digital displays.

Altitude

As the next available trim, the Altitude takes what the Laredo offers and adds to its list of features. These features include heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a Uconnect 4C NAV multimedia system, and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

Limited

The Limited is the way to go for even more upgrades. The new features include LED fog lights, leather upholstery, and heated rear seats. The Limited also has a 4WD model with a terrain-based drive mode system with five settings.

Overland

Building off the Limited trim and mixing with additional luxury features is the Overland. Technology and amenities such as adaptive air suspension, front tow hooks, panoramic sunroof, and ambient cabin lighting are found throughout this trim.

Summit

As a top-level trim, the Summit has unique amenities such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen, massaging front seats, and passenger seat memory settings. Its safety features include an active driving assist system, front cross-traffic alert, and driver attention warning.

Summit Reserve

The Summit Reserve is the highest trim and only available with the Quadra-Drive II AWD. It adds 21-inch alloy wheels to the exterior and upgraded LED headlamps, while the interior is treated to a Palermo leather trim.
